You must submit a booking request to book a Urban Shared Space space through Urbansharedspace.homes successfully.
Think of the booking request as your personal introduction, based on which the host decides whether to accept or reject it.
After you submit a booking request, the host has 48 hours to accept (or decline) your request.
Making a booking request is straightforward:
Select a Listing:
First, choose the specific listing you're interested in and open it in your browser.
Reservation Section:
On the right side of each listing description, you'll find a reservation section where you should input your "Move-in" and "Move-out" dates.
If both dates are selectable, great! The selected space is probably available on these dates.
Remember that this information is based on the last update by the host, so it may not always be completely accurate.
Review Details:
The system will display all rent amounts and fees. Clicking the "Reserve" button will direct you to the reservation summary, where you can review all key information from your pending request. Reviewing the details, including the Renters Terms and cancellation policy, is crucial to avoid potential complications.
Personal Information:
The next step involves filling in your personal details. The host will use this information to decide whether to accept your booking request.
Ensure your contact information is accurate, as it will be used for system/personal communication.
If you have a discount code for the reservation fee or first month’s rent, enter it here.
Both you and the host will be notified by email once your booking request has been successfully created
From this moment, there is a 48-hour window during which the host needs to reply to your reservation request.
Unfortunately, if the host does not respond within this period, our system will prevent them from collecting rent automatically. You can cancel the reservation request at any time.
Congratulations! If the host has approved your booking request, you must complete the payment within 24 hours.
This process includes accepting the Renters Terms, and paying the first month's rent.
Booking requests can be rejected for several reasons, but the most common is that the Urban Shared Space space is unavailable on the desired dates.
Many hosts list their spaces on multiple platforms, and the space may be already booked elsewhere at the time of your request. (Unfortunately, hosts sometimes don’t update their availability calendars promptly.)
Other reasons for a booking request rejection can include incomplete information in your profile (which is why we recommend providing as much detail about yourself as possible).
If your booking request is rejected, feel free to request another listing. Urbansharedspace.homes offers many other options!
Can't find another suitable space? Try contacting hosts with currently unavailable listings as well. There may be a chance that the availability or pricing has not been updated recently.
It may happen that the host does not respond to your booking request within 48 hours. This delay often occurs over weekends, public holidays, or during private vacations.
If this occurs, our system will automatically reject the booking request after a certain amount of time.
You don't need to do it manually.
We recommend making a new booking request for a different Urban Shared Space space. However, if you are still interested in the same space, you can submit another booking request or contact the host through the listing details to inquire about possible booking availability.
